People often say, "Find what you are passionate about". But what is actually being passionate or having passion in our lives?

When we start new things, such as joining an organization or starting new year in school, we often get a sheet of paper that says, "About Me" on top of the paper. Going through all the questions and answering them having time to reflect on ourselves, we certainty see a question asking, "what is your hobby?". For me, that is the question that I have the hardest time answering.
From the core value test that I took today, the test defined passion as "a vocation or loved hobby". And in the dictionary, it is defined as: n. an intense desire or enthusiasm for something.
People like me often think too much about what passion is, as it shows what kind of person you are. They often think that passion or a hobby has to be something incredible, such as painting, cooking, etc. But what if you cannot cook, draw, or paint like I can't? And to make it seem easy, I decided to think that passion does not have to be something that is special. I decided to find passion in daily life.
My passion/hobby is to record what day it is. When I say what day it is, I'm not saying what we call "the date" like 9/14/2025. I'm saying what special thing is happening today. For example, today September 14th, is National Cream-Filled Donut Day! To add more examples, September 10th was International Makeup Day, and tomorrow, September 15th, is National Cheese Toast Day. And people may question, so what do you do with these dates? First, I record it down on my physical calendar and draw a small icon indicating what day it is. And second, I go and do those things. So tomorrow, I'm planning to have cheese toast when I get home from school. I love keeping these dates down as it makes my repetitive, boring days special.
Remember not to overthink, and "Find Passion in the Mundane".
